See Jawi from an academic perspective in schools

I WELCOME the initiative to reintroduce Jawi in school because I have benefited from studying it.

I studied it for two years at Heng Ee High School and I still remember clearly the teacher who taught me the subject was Puan Yoga, an Indian lady who was very persistent. I am very thankful to her – because of her persistence and hard work, until today I can understand simple sentences and phrases written in Jawi.
