More to do than retire at the age of 60

ACCORDING to government statistics, the number of people aged 60 and above is expected to reach 3.4 million or 9.8% of the population in 2020. Given this huge number, it’s time to consider raising the age of retirement to at least 65 to enable this big chunk of the population to continue to be productive.

In many countries, including Australia and Singapore, the retirement age, on average, is 65.
