THE Nobel Prize in Economics 2019 was shared by Abhijit Banerjee, Esther Duflo and Michael Kremer “for their experimental approach to alleviating global poverty”.
Their approach for solving global poverty involves tackling individual issues by breaking them down into smaller – but more concise – questions. They later designed field experiments to answer questions about global poverty.
