OUR firefighters are often unsung heroes. They are usually the first rescue workers to arrive at the scene of disasters, man-made or natural, and the last to leave. Theirs is one of the most challenging and hazardous jobs in the world.
They risk their lives and limbs to rescue people trapped in buildings, douse flames, attend to road accident victims and workplace accidents as well as remove snakes and other hidden dangers close to homes.
