WELL said, and thanks to Thomas of Selayang, Selangor, for the letter “How to ban these irresponsible smokers?” on Dec 29 (online at bit.ly/star_smokers). I believe it reflects what the majority of nonsmokers feel and how we badly want the government to act!
Some smokers blatantly defy the law and smoke or vape in eateries. And if non-smokers look censoriously at these lawbreakers, instead of feeling guilty, they respond as if they’re not doing anything wrong. It happens so much, I sometimes wonder if the government has lifted the ban on smoking!
