HRDC micro-credential fee a fair price to pay


RECENTLY, the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) was slammed by major industrial groups in print and social media for imposing a RM300 fee per trainee for the micro-credential programme it organises. Some even likened the new fee to daylight robbery.

I would say the slamming was not justified. I think it was the result of misinterpretations and misunderstanding by the industrial groups and inadequate explanation and clarification by the HRDC about its micro-credential programme.
