Pity the plight of hoodwinked young part-timers

AS many people may have noticed, part-timers are the essential workers that keep eateries running. I’ve noticed that most of them are either university students or secondary school students awaiting SPM results. There are also teenagers working like crazy for allowances or even a living.

Despite the level of education among this group of workers, most seem unaware of the Employment (Parttime Employees) Regulations 2010 and are easily taken advantage of.
