Loneliness not an option for the elderly

I WENT for an outing with a group of senior citizens in their 60s and 70s recently. I learnt much from them as they told me of their experiences and also their expectations in their twilight years.

Most retirees want to spend their time occupied with meaningful hobbies and activities, social and recreational activities and spending quality time with friends and loved ones.
