Young lawyers call for time off to vote

WE, the Young Lawyers Movement, urge the Malaysian Bar to encourage its members to exercise their right to vote on Nov 19 for the 15th General Election.

We recognise that in order to ensure their presence at their respective constituencies within the allotted time on election day, voters will have to make travel arrangements that may overlap with their work schedule on the day before (Nov 18), taking into consideration the potentially daunting traffic situation that might exist.
