Settling disputes over traffic summonses

A FEW days ago, my niece was stopped by a uniformed traffic policeman while she was driving to a restaurant. He told her that she had committed two traffic violations – illegal entry and illegal U-turn.

My niece, backed by a friend who was with her, strongly denied the charges, but the policeman refused to listen and issued two summonses to her. Later that day, she and her mother went to the Melaka Tengah Traffic Police HQ to appeal her case because she was adamant that she had not committed any offence and the summonses were therefore not justified. Unfortunately, she was not successful.
