Wisdom of releasing investigation reports


I REFER to the report “Batang Kali landslide: Victims’ next of kin question delay in release of report” (The Star, June 2).

Investigations on the landslide, which occurred some six months ago and claimed 31 lives, should have been wrapped up a while back but till now, all we are hearing is that the report is expected to be ready only by the end of this month.
