Physical road tax disc is still better

I URGE the Transport Minister to reconsider the decision to do away with the display of the physical road tax discs on vehicles even though there is a potential savings of RM96mil in doing so.

In an Aug 2 news report titled “JPJ branches ordered to take down ‘no physical road tax’ notice” (The Star; online at bit.ly/star_physical), Minister Anthony Loke said, “... there will come a time when we will transform to fully digital. ... It would take six months to one year before going fully digital.”
