THE drowning of a foreign tourist off Timba-Timba Island near Semporna, Sabah made me recall the frightening experience of travelling in a similar boat in the same area, “Tourist drowns, eight others saved after boat capsizes off Semporna” (The Star, Sept 5).
Last month, my wife and I (we are both in our 60s) took an island-hopping tour to Timba-Timba, Mataking and Pom Pom islands on a speedboat.
