Consider animal welfare in Budget 2024

PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also Finance Minister, will be proposing the national budget for 2024 in Parliament soon. I would like to take this opportunity to appeal to the good office of the PM to consider allocating special financial grants to help animal welfare shelters in the country.

These shelters are managed by volunteers from public donations. The volunteers are providing invaluable welfare services to the homeless animals, including rescuing and neutering them.
