PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has rightly highlighted the need for increased funding for healthcare infrastructure and support services/facilities in Budget 2024, “Budget to focus on health and education” (The Star, Oct 2).
But while expanding healthcare infrastructure is essential to address overcrowding in government hospitals, it is also vital that we do not solely focus on the supply side.
