I REFER to Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin’s recent statement advising higher education institutions in Malaysia not to be too obsessed with the university ranking system.

He said that even international bodies, including the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco), have expressed concerns about the system.
