Stop making a mountain out of a molehill

THE recent issue pertaining to the donation to Chinese and Tamil schools by beer companies has stirred up a lot of unnecessary controversy.

This is a practice that has been going on for years, and the Chinese and Tamil schools are very thankful to the generosity of the beer companies, without which they will not be able to operate and produce outstanding students, many of whom became prominent government servants, corporate leaders and intelligent politicians.
