Universities should conduct OSH training courses

THE Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH) enforced the Occupational Safety and Health Amendment Act 2022 (OSHA 2022) on June 1 this year at workplaces nationwide.

The amended Act introduced, among others, a new rule under Section 29A requiring employers with five or more workers to appoint an occupational safety and health coordinator (OSH-C) to oversee all issues pertaining to occupational safety and health at their workplace.
