Counting the cost of investing in data centres


MALAYSIA has approved RM114.7bil worth of investments in data centres and cloud services between 2021 and 2023, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in a post on X on June 11.

Currently, there are 45 data centres in Malaysia, and the number is expected to double with an additional 44 sites in the pipeline.
