Officers under investigation should be suspended

I AM writing to express my concern regarding the recent news about the four policemen who were arrested for allegedly extorting RM45,000 from two businessmen, “Four cops nabbed over extortion now in non-active units” (The Star, Sept 3).

They have been released on police bail and placed in non-active units as the investigation continues, it was reported.
