IN an ambitious move to spur students’ interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced an initiative to bring 100 scientists into 100 schools.

As an academic in the engineering field, I wholeheartedly support this initiative, recognising the crucial role that early exposure to STEM can play in shaping future innovators.
