I WAS filled with dismay when I read the letter “Ageism in Malaysia’s workforce” (The Star, Sept 14).
The writer, a PhD holder in English Literature, wrote that her application for a contractual senior lecturer position was rejected by a college in Tanjung Malim just because she is 51 years old.
