China-Asean free trade area 3.0: Opening a new chapter in regional cooperation

On Oct 10, 2024, leaders of China and the 10 Asean member countries announced the substantial conclusion of the China-Asean Free Trade Area 3.0 negotiations. Version 3.0 of the China-Asean Free Trade Area covers nine areas, including both existing and emerging areas.
