House arrest for those in remand not objectionable


HOME Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail explained the proposed house arrest law in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday, saying it would apply only to those in remand awaiting their trial dates.

Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim of PKR said he was glad to learn that the proposed law would not be used to benefit certain individuals:
