Highways should ease travel, not hinder it

I AM writing to express my concerns regarding the rapidly deteriorating situation at toll plazas across our highways, particularly in relation to the RFID toll payment system. As a frequent user of these highways, I have observed several issues that are contributing to significant congestion and frustration among motorists.

Firstly, there is a glaring lack of standardisation in the placement of RFID payment toll booths. Different highway concessionaires have adopted varying practices, with some placing the booths on the extreme right and others situating them in the middle. This inconsistency not only confuses drivers but also leads to inefficient traffic flow, as motorists scramble to find the correct lane.
