MORE and more nowadays, I see young motorcyclists riding recklessly and carelessly on the road. Engaging in high-speed manoeuvres, weaving among vehicles, running red lights or riding without proper protective gear seem to be the norm. Such reckless riding can result in severe accidents, injuries or fatalities.
Not only are these young riders putting their lives at risk, but they are also endangering the lives of pedestrians, other motorists and passengers. They must always remember that the road is shared, and dangerous behaviour can have devastating consequences.
