Uphill task to achieve road safety plan target

IT was sad to read about the untimely demise of a young lady after her car was crushed by a cargo container at the Jalan Bukit Tengah traffic light junction in Bukit Mertajam, “Penang woman crushed to death by container called mother with dying breath” (The Star, Nov 15).

Her last words, “Mummy! It hurts so much!”, must be still reverberating in the grieving mother’s mind.
