Former drug addicts need more support

AS a volunteer with an NGO registered with the Home Ministry, I have the privilege once a week to visit inmates in the Seremban prison as well as those in the drug rehabilitation centre in Titi, Jelebu, Negri Sembilan.

Most of the inmates are drug addicts or traffickers. They range in age from the early 20s to the late 50s. Most of the addicts became involved with drugs due to the wrong company, work stress, and personal and family problems.
