Pressure to play well at home contributed to shuttlers’ poor form


I REFER to the StarSport article “Strong start, poor finish” (The Star, Jan 13).

I agree with the observations by Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) national coaching director Rexy Mainaky that our shuttlers’ poor form and lack of consistency and composure have once again proved their undoing at the Malaysia Open 2025 held in Bukit Jalil.
