KUALA PILAH: Malaysia has become the first country to witness the signing of a 6-way 4G Multi Operator Core Network (MOCN) sharing agreement, says Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
KUALA LUMPUR: Four mobile network operators (MNOs) have submitted bids to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for the tender to participate in the second 5G network, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
Mobile network operators (MNOs) and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is expected to hold a meeting to discuss the mandatory standards for the quality of experience, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.
In what seems to be a warning to mobile network operators (MNOs), Fahmi Fadzil remarked that the government will step in to finalise the ownership of the dual 5G network operators if the MNOs fail to reach an agreement.
