PETALING JAYA: World champion para archer S. Suresh missed out on a medal in the men’s recurve Open but the compound archers provided the cheers by winning the team gold at the Asian Para Archery Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.

The men’s trio of Wiro Julin, Ramdi Rahimin and K. Morogen finished top after beating Thailand, comprising Simpiron Comsan, Pornchai Phimthong and Anon Aungaphinan, 218-216 in the final yesterday.
