Khairul and Co go down fighting to finish fourth


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian men’s recurve team salvaged some pride after failing to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics by finishing a respectable fourth in the third leg of Archery World Cup in Paris.

The trio of Khairul Anuar Mohamed, Akmal Nor Hasrin and Zarif Syahiir Zolkepeli went down fighting 3-5 (58-58, 58-56, 52-53, 56-58) to France in the playoff for bronze on Saturday.
