PETALING JAYA: Recurve archer Syaqiera Mashayikh shone the brightest out of the first three Malaysian athletes to swing into action on Paris soil yesterday.
Syaqiera, making her second straight Olympic appearance in Paris, shot a new personal best score of 663 points in near perfect weather to finish 14th out of 64 competitors in the women’s individual ranking rounds at Les Invalides yesterday.
