PETALING JAYA: Sprinter Nur Aishah Rofina Aling will cherish the MAF Track and Field Championships for a long time for running faster than her idol.

The 24-year-old finished fifth in the 200m with a time of 25.64 yesterday at the Bukit Jalil Mini Stadium but it was in the 100m on Saturday that she surprised everyone by outsprinting Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli en route to winning gold with a time of 11.90.
