PETALING JAYA: SEA Games women’s 400m champion Shereen Samson Vallabouy will not compete in the Asian Championships as she has decided to focus on her preparation for the Asian Games under new coach Derrick White in Florida.

Shereen, 25, trained under Mason Rebarchek at the Winona State University for the past four years but their collaboration ended after the Ipoh-born runner completed her degree in recreation and tourism in May.
