Umar breaks national record and eyes spot in 400m final

PETALING JAYA: Middle distance runner Umar Osman has walked the talk in Chengdu, China.

He kept his promise to break his own national 400m record at the World University Games (WUG) by shaving off 0.01s from his old mark of 46.34s by posting a time of 46.33 in heat 1 yesterday.
