Sprinter Azeem gets off to a good start in his first world meet

PETALING JAYA: Sprinter Mohd Azeem Fahmi kept alive his hope of becoming the first Malaysian to reach the World Championships semi-finals by clearing the preliminary round.

The 19-year-old posted a time of 10.24s to finish first in the preliminary round heat two at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest, Hungary, yesterday.
