Time to up the ante: Shereen Samson Vallabouy’s current national record of 51.80s was achieved at the St Mac Relays in Walnut, California, in April.

PETALING JAYA: It’s a very tall order but Shereen Samson Vallabouy has firmly set her sights on clocking 50.95s or better to qualify on merit for the 2024 Paris Olympics in the women’s 400m event.

Her current national record of 51.80s was achieved at the St Mac Relays in Walnut, California, in April and her only other sub 52s race was at the Ed Murphey Classic in Memphis (51.99) in August.
