Athletics: Young Efrain turns on power in absence of injured sprinter Haiqal

PETALING JAYA: An injury to national sprinter Mohd Haiqal Hanafi seemed to have opened the door for Efrain Feerzan Qhan (pic) to shine.

The 21-year-old won the Pahang Open Superseries 200m race with a time of 21.94s, which is also his first-ever gold medal in the Super Series.
