Azeem among SEA’s hopeful six but only Puripol looks good for semis

SIX men from South-East Asia, including Malaysian Mohd Azeem Fahmi, will be taking part in the 100m at the Paris Olympics – but only one teen from Thailand seems to have what it takes to get to the semi-final.

Nicknamed the Angel Bew by his fans, Puripol Boonson (pic) is entering the Olympics as the top South-East Asian sprinter with a season’s best of 10.08s.
