You can do it: Malaysia’s Liew Daren is the only Malaysian left standing in the men’s singles of the Perodua Malaysian Masters after defeating Jeon Hyeok-jin of South Korea in the second round yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR: Trust Liew Daren to keep the men’s singles challenge going at the Perodua Malaysian Masters.

The 30-year-old, who left the Badminton Association of Malay­sia (BAM) two years ago, rolled back the clock by beating South Korean world No. 20 Jeon Hyeok-jin 21-17, 19-21, 21-16 in the second round at the Axiata Arena yesterday.
