Purple League all abuzz as it awaits Momota moment


PETALING JAYA: Japan’s Kento Momota will make his much-anticipated debut for Ampang Jaya Badminton Club (AJBC) in the SS Purple League (SSPL) tomorrow.

The world No. 1 and reigning world champion will begin his SSPL adventure with AJBC against Kepong Badminton Club (KBC) and on Wednesday, he will lead the team against defending champions Puchong United Badminton Club (PUBC) at the Gem In Mall in Cyberjaya.
