Liu Ying in race to recover in time for World Tour Finals

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s top mixed doubles shuttler Goh Liu Ying is nursing an ankle injury and that could spell trouble for her and partner Chan Peng Soon at the World Tour Finals in Guangzhou, China, from Dec 11-15.

Liu Ying picked up the injury during the quarter-final match against Taiwan’s Yang Po-hsuan and Hiu Ling-fang at the Korean Masters in Gwangju last week. The Malaysians lost 17-21,16-21.
