China’s Yuqi seen as Momota’s biggest rival

KUALA LUMPUR: With an astonishing 11 titles last season, the in-form world No. 1 Kento Momota looks to be the overwhelming favourite for the Tokyo Olympics gold medal in front of his home fans.

Not so, says Japan’s men’s singles coach Yosuke Nakanishi. He does not think the Olympics’ men’s singles gold is Momota’s to lose.
