Lee Zii Jia

KUALA LUMPUR: National No. 1 men’s singles shuttler Lee Zii Jia’s challenge at the Thailand Masters ended in the second round but Malaysia’s doubles pairs continued to make their presence strongly felt in Bangkok.

Zii Jia fought hard yesterday but it was not good enough to beat world No. 35 Heo Kwang-hee. He eventually lost 19-21,21-15,16-21 in a match which was just seven minutes shy of the hour mark at the Huamark Indoor Stadium.
