KUALA LUMPUR: National No. 1 shuttler Lee Zii Jia’s narrow semi-final defeat to eventual All-England champion Viktor Axelsen has raised an important question – should players have the right to challenge an umpire’s decision?

Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM)’s development committee chairman Datuk Ng Chin Chai thinks they should be given the right – and it should be done before the Tokyo Olympic Games.
