PETALING JAYA: National men’s doubles shuttler Soh Wooi Yik had not even been born when his uncle Soo Beng Kiang reached the semi-finals of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.

Now, the 22-year-old Wooi Yik can walk tall. He is set to follow in Beng Kiang’s footsteps by making his debut at the Tokyo Olympic Games, scheduled from July 25-Aug 9.
