An Axe for Victor

PETALING JAYA: Former international shuttler Mohd Hafiz Hashim believes Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen will be among those reaping the most benefits from the proposed 11-point best-of-five games scoring (11x5) system should it be implemented.

The short format, according to Hafiz, will favour players with great offensive strength such as Axelsen and it might help him to finally get the better of his nemesis and world No. 1 Kento Momota.
