Thomas Cup Finals off again


PETALING JAYA: Badminton fans around the world are in for a treat in September and October, if the Covid-19 pandemic subsides and permits the sport to return in full swing.The Badminton World Federation (BWF) have announced that the Thomas and Uber Cup Finals in Aarhus, Denmark have been pushed back further to Oct 3-11, making it a hectic stretch of eight tournaments in nine weeks.

It’s the second time the prestigious men and women team competitions are being postponed. They were deferred from May 16-24 to Aug 15-23 due to the deadly virus threat.
