BAM to decide before CNY whether to fund shuttlers

Datuk Kenny Goh

PETALING JAYA: The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) will make a decision on whether to fund the dropped shuttlers for the upcoming Europe trip before Chinese New Year.

All five players – Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie, Lai Pei Jing, Vivian Hoo and Soniia Cheah – who were axed from the national team have appealed to the BAM to give their blessings for them to compete in next month’s Swiss Open, German Open and All-England.
